Branding case study: Logo and brand identity refresh for WFAS (WF Athletic Supply)

Creating, or redefining, a brand is a transformative process. Done well, branding transforms perceptions, allegiances, and misconceptions.

We recently had the opportunity to rebrand a longtime client, WF Athletic Supply.

Originally called Warehouse Fitness, the retailer’s brand was evolving in a positive direction, but the logo felt clumsy and too strongly tied to the warehouse theme. We sought to create a logo that would resonate with WF’s audience and strongly reinforce the company’s tagline of “professional products for elite athletes”. The new logo elevates the brand above the competition with smart, powerfully simple design. The end result is athletic, authentic, elite, and truly differentiating.
